Air India Express worked India’s first international flight with completely vaccinated crew from Delhi to Dubai on Friday.
The airline said in an explanation: “The pilots and the cabin crew of IX 191, which took off from Delhi at 10.40am, had gotten the two dosages of their COVID-19 vaccine. Capt. D R Gupta and Capt. Alok Kumar Nayak, captained the flight with cabin crew individuals Venkat Kella, Praveen Chandra, Pravin Chougle and Manisha Kamble. A similar crew worked the return flight IX 196, on Dubai — Jaipur — Delhi area.”
Air India Express said: “As we work the country’s first international flight with completely vaccinated crew, it could be reviewed that it was Air India Express that worked India’s first-since forever Vande Bharat Mission (VBM) flight which contacted down Indian soil on 7 May 2020 conveying passengers from Abu Dhabi. India’s spending transporter has been important for the Vande Bharat Mission, the biggest civilian evacuation exercise on the planet attempted by the public authority of India in the wake of the COVID-19 flare-up last year. Air India Express alone worked 7,005 VBM flights conveying a sum of 1.63 million passengers till last month.
