Dubai is offering free passage to its museums on Tuesday, May 18, it was reported on Monday.
The move is essential for the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority’s celebration of the International Museum Day.
Dubai is home to a several museums, including Al Shindagha and Etihad museums.
As per the International Council of Museums, which arranges the yearly occasion, the day would be set apart under the subject ‘the fate of museums: Recover and rethink”.
The topic “will zero in on reconsidering the gallery of things to come to address the difficulties of the present”.
Authorities in Sharjah had a week ago declared free passage to its 16 museums that cover generally changed fields, including Islamic art and culture, prehistoric studies, legacy, science, marine life, just as the historical backdrop of the Emirate and the locale.
