DEWA coordinated the Solar Decathlon Middle East (SDME). The program is its organization with the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy and the US Department of Energy.
The competition assists members with creating imaginative arrangements that battle climate change and draw in youth in sustainable development.
BaityKool team from the University of Bordeaux won third spot in the decathlon. The team executed a sustainable smart house in Dubai.
The idea upholds the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan that traces a coordinated guide for urban and sustainable development.
HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA, said: “We are satisfied to observe the development of inventive projects participating in the competition.”
He added that the projects executed “one of the triumphant designs in a few sustainable properties in Dubai”.
Prior, DEWA declared plans to extend its continuous energy efficiency collaboration into inexhaustible solar power installations.
