Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) has reminded its clients to consistently check the domain name at whatever point they get any email from Dewa and to make payments just through confided in channels.
This exhort came after Dewa saw that a few clients had gotten deceitful emails, guaranteeing they were from Dewa and requesting that they make bill payments. “Dewa urges its clients not to react to such emails or snap on any link inside those emails,” the utility service supplier said in an explanation sent to media on Friday.
Dewa said it was taking essential measures to resolve this issue, in a joint effort with the equipped specialists. “We encourage the clients to consistently check the domain name of the email address and to make payments through confided in channels,” the Dewa explanation added.
