The four Dubai inhabitants, who became a web sensation in the wake of saving the existence of a pregnant cat as she tumbled from a second-floor balcony, have gotten liberal monetary rewards from the Dubai Ruler.
Hailed as “unrecognized yet truly great individuals” by His Highness Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the four men have gotten Dh50,000 each for their speedy reasoning that saved the cat’s life.
An authority from the Dubai Ruler’s Office visited Ashraf, a Moroccan watchman; Atif Mehmood, a Pakistani salesman; Nasser, an Indian driver working with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA); and Mohammed Rashid – who shot the viral video – and gave over an envelope containing the money.
Hailing from assorted foundations, the three men didn’t have the foggiest idea about one another preceding the episode. “We as a whole kind of met up to save the cat,” Atif had told media before.
In the video, the cat is seen hanging from the balcony. A group of three men rapidly takes position beneath with a bedsheet spread out as a wellbeing net. The cat falls into the bedsheet, conceivably saving her life. The men then pat her as she leaves safe.
Sheik Mohammed had shared the video on Twitter, asking individuals who could recognize them to say thanks to them for his sake.
