Four taxi and transport drivers in Dubai have been honoured for their genuineness and great ethics.
One driver, Firos Charupadikkal, from the Dubai Taxi Corporation, given over a pack containing valuable things to a traveler who gave up it in his taxi.
Three transport drivers Hassan Khan, Aziz Rahman and Hussein Nazir helped a lady whose vehicle stalled in the street. They assisted her with supplanting a punctured tire.
Mattar Mohammed Al Tayer, Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), said thanks to the drivers for their commitment to their positions.
“We highly esteem having workers with such trustworthiness and ethics in the RTA. The four drivers acted appropriately in managing general society, be it in maintaining the standards of honesty or helping out individuals out of luck.
“Such a direct underscores our trust in the devotion, trustworthiness and great habits of our staff openly transport implies that lift a large number of travelers every day. Such a training will support the public trust in utilizing public vehicle and taxicabs in Dubai,” added Al Tayer.
