More than 44,000 residents in Dubai have gotten the Golden Visa since the launch of the long-term residency scheme.

The Golden Visa scheme was launched in 2019 to draw in and hold abilities from everywhere the world and build up the UAE as an optimal objective to live and work in. These visas are given for five or 10 years and restored automatically.

Investors, entrepreneurs, special talents and researchers in various fields of science and knowledge and bright students are eligible to receive the visa.

Recent guidelines extended the Golden Visa qualification to incorporate supervisors, CEOs, specialists in science, engineering, health, education, business management and technology. Additionally, the procedure to get the long-term residency was eased for highly skilled and specialised residents, investors, entrepreneurs, scientists, pioneers, leading students and graduates.

During a media instructions on Monday, Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director-General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai, noticed a consistent increment of travellers at Dubai air terminals since the start of the Covid-19 recovery.

Dubai currently sees around 145,000 travellers going through the airport consistently, including a day by day record of 65,000 guests coming into the emirate.

Al Marri expressed profound gratitude to the quick and able measures the UAE has taken to accomplish recovery, the quantity of day by day travellers is relied upon to reach 200,000 soon.
