Reacting to a SOS from the owner of a floating restaurant, the Dubai Police, in collaboration with the Directorate General of Civil Defense and Dubai Municipality, figured out how to rescue the boat from soaking in Dubai Creek on Friday.
A joint team from the Dubai Police’s Maritime Rescue Department and Civil Defense’s Marine Fire and Rescue Department was shaped not long after the police control room got a call for help from the proprietor of the restaurant, said Colonel Dr Hassan Suhail Al Suwaidi, Director of the Ports Police Station at Dubai Police.
Completely prepared rescue boats raced to where the floating restaurant was moored and they quickly got right into it.
