Clients of iPhones in Dubai would now be able to pay for public parking utilizing only their phones.
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has dispatched the ‘App Clips’ drive to facilitate the parking payment measure.
Motorists can scan the QR code on parking machines and directional signs across Dubai to have their parking demands prepared.
Additionally, clients can save 30 fils that is the additional charge paid for the SMS parking service.
Application Clips isn’t an application that clients should download on their iPhones. It is a component of RTA Dubai App. It springs up once the QR code is scanned, and empowers the client to easily pay the parking expense through Apple Pay.
Clients don’t need to download RTA Dubai App to get to the component. It is accessible in both Arabic and English languages.
“We have joined QR code stickers to parking machines and billboards in more than 70% of public parking parts in the Emirate of Dubai. The interaction is gathering speed to cover all parking spaces without further ado,” the RTA added.
