Ruler of Dubai has announced the launch of the ‘100 Million Meals’ initiative

Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, VP of UAE and ruler of Dubai declared on Sunday the dispatch of an activity to raise 100 million dirhams ($27.2 million) for a monstrous food dispersion campaign.

The activity, dispatched in the soul of the holy month, is hoping to give 100 million meals to “impeded people and families” in a few countries including Sudan, Lebanon, Jordan, Pakistan, Angola, Uganda and Egypt.

“We will work with compassionate affiliations, organizations, financial specialists and humanitarians in the UAE [to help the penniless and the poor],” the Dubai ruler said on Twitter.

“Four hours from us are 52 million individuals doing combating hunger. We need to make a critical move to engage underserved networks… Today, we have the chance to send 100 million messages of harmony from the UAE to 20 countries across the world.”

Named “100 Million Meals”, the program is supposed to be the greatest food conveyance campaign in the locale.

The individuals who need to give can do so online by means of 100millionmeals.ae or through a bank move to Dubai Islamic Bank. A gift just one dirham is supposed to be sufficient to give one supper to underserved networks in focused countries.

“The campaign originates from the UAE’s standards of serving mankind… to turn into a critical part of the general public. The campaign carries out the initiative’s vision to set up fortitude, guide the helpless and encourage the conviction that satisfaction lies in giving,” the site said.

The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) district is home to 52 million individuals who are undernourished.
