Sheikh Mohammed promotes more than 6,600 officers, including those from Dubai Police and non-commissioned officers

His Highness Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has given a choice promoting various senior officials, non-commissioned officials and faculty from Dubai Police, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, Dubai, GDRFA, and the Dubai Civil Defense.

Sheik Mohammed ordered the promotion of Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA, Rashid Thani Al Matroushi, Director General of Dubai Civil Defense, and Talal Humaid Balhoul Al Falasi, Director General of Dubai Security, to the rank of Lieutenant General, in acknowledgment of their endeavors and commitments to improving the security in Dubai as per the most noteworthy global guidelines, making Dubai one of the world’s most secure urban areas.

The promotions included 5,823 officials, NCOs and staff from Dubai Police, 483 from the GDRFA and 299 from Dubai Civil Defense.

Lt. Gen Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chairman of Dubai Police and Public Security, expressed gratitude toward Sheik Mohammed for the signal. He additionally approached the police and public security faculty to strengthen their endeavors to improve the UAE’s standing internationally, under the astute administration.

“The extraordinary steps made by the UAE under the administration of The President His Highness Sheik Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheik Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, accompany the incredible obligation of defending the nation’s accomplishments,” he added.
