Abandoned Indian passengers getting back to the UAE should land just in the emirate of their residency, Air India said on Saturday.
This implies Dubai residents can land just in Dubai. Similarly, Abu Dhabi residents should return just to the Capital.
In the new standards for Dubai inhabitant visa holders, the travel update said: “Kindly note right now just passengers having Dubai occupant visa and have GDRFA approval are permitted to arrive into Dubai Airport. Passengers having different emirates inhabitant visas are not permitted to arrive into Dubai airport.”
The update for other emirate residency visa holders said: “Just passengers having Abu Dhabi inhabitant visa and have ICA approval are permitted to arrive into Abu Dhabi Airport. Passengers having a Dubai inhabitant visa are not permitted to arrive into Abu Dhabi Airport.”
The Abu Dhabi office of Air India and Air India Express affirmed the most recent development.
