Many Dawoodi Bohra individuals partook in a UAE National Day parade on Naif Road in Deira, Dubai, on Thursday.
Individuals from the community offered their thanks to Naif Police station authorities for their help in the preparation and execution of the Golden Jubilee parade in Deira.
Talking on the event, Kinana Jamaluddin, delegate of Sultan al Bohra in the UAE, said: “We devote this celebratory parade to the visionary authority and individuals of the UAE. Our warm wishes and congratulations to the President His Highness Sheik Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai; His Highness Sheik Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed forces and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; and their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, for the striking improvement of this country”.
He added: “As we glance back at these 50 superb years, the Dawoodi Bohras of the UAE stay undaunted in our assurance to keep cooperating towards the turn of events and progress of this country.”
The Dawoodi Bohras are a prevalently business expat community in the UAE. The Bohras originally moved to the district in the mid 1960s as traders and businesspersons.
Jamaluddin said: “According to the counsel of our Sultan al Bohra Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, the community stays steadfast and as decent residents, and endeavors to add to the UAE’s financial development and thriving. Unwaveringness to the country that we live in is a basic part of our confidence.”
The parade finished at Dawoodi Bohra Complex on Naif Road, Deira, where there was a recitation of the UAE National Anthem followed by a cake-cutting function.
